It's really cold outside. I'm talking windchill of single-digit degrees, cold. And there's nothing better to combat the cold than a glass of whisky and some good company.

Guests in attendance at this "Tales of Aberlour" tasting event walked into Openhouse Gallery to what at first glace appeared to be a photography art opening. Aberlour commissioned award winning photographer, David Maitland to creatively document the process of making single malt whisky, on a molecular level. His colorful macro photography stood out from the white-washed exposed brick walls and engaged guests as they enjoyed a dram of Aberlour Punch and tasty treats by Riviera Cateres. Guests were then lead on a rustic adventure through the history of Aberlour, tasting three years of Aberlour along the way: 12 year, 16 year and A'Bunadh.

At the end of the tour, Aberlour surprised guests with a lifestyle partnership with The Hunt, who was on-site making custom monogrammed stamped leather keychains for guests to take home.

If you're planning a corporate or private event and are in need of a photographer, let's talk. I'd love to hear from you. Experiential events and liquor events are my favorite. I'm currently looking to add a few Vodka, Bourbon (*cough, cough* Bulleit Bourbon, if you're reading this!!) and Tequila brands to my list.
